SayPaw is a free app by Auvro. It runs entirely on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no servers. Your pet's photo, your text, and the generated voice never leave your device.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to: personal information (name, email, phone number, address), photos or videos you take or select, text you type into the app, synthesized voice audio, usage patterns or behavioral analytics, device identifiers or advertising IDs, location data, or any data about children or minors.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. We do not integrate with any advertising network. We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties because we do not have any user data.
You pick a pet photo, choose a voice personality, type a thought, and SayPaw synthesizes speech on your device using an on-device voice engine. The photo and audio are composited into a video, also on your device. When you share the video, iOS hands it to the app you choose — SayPaw is not involved after that point.
No step in this process makes a network call. The app works in airplane mode.
SayPaw uses Firebase Crashlytics by Google to collect anonymous crash reports. This data is not linked to your identity and includes only: crash stack traces, device model, operating system version, and app version. No photos, voice data, or text you type is included in crash reports. See Firebase's privacy policy for details.
App Store privacy label: Data Not Linked to You — Crash Data.
Pet photos are held in memory while you use the app. They are never saved to disk and are discarded when you close the app.
Synthesized audio is held in memory and discarded after export or when the app closes.
Exported videos are written to a temporary directory, presented via the iOS share sheet, and then deleted.
Feedback counts (if you tap "How did that sound?") are stored as three integers in on-device storage. No text, no identifiers — just counts.
SayPaw v1 uses bundled voice presets — pre-recorded reference audio files included in the app. There is no voice recording, no voice cloning, and no biometric data processing. If a future version adds voice recording, this policy will be updated before that version ships.
SayPaw does not collect any data from any user, including children. The app contains no accounts, no social features, and no mechanism to identify any user. It is rated 4+ on the App Store.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — processes anonymous crash data. See Firebase Privacy Policy. No other third-party service is used.
App Store: Downloading SayPaw through Apple's App Store is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
If we change our data practices, we will update this page and the date above. Given that the app is built to collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
